What I found most amazing, is that the Thargoids are interacting with the NPCs! They do scan them and carry their search. Still I haven't seen any thargoid attacking NPCs, but I feel we are close to see it.
One of my first thargoid encounters after coming back to the bubble a while ago, dusted my good old DBX off to check them out and stumbled upon this frame rate killer of a mess, npc was trying to pirate me, who is just off to the left, but i dont remember having anything in my cargo hold, i might of though, accidently deployed my hardpoints (no guns, just chaff and shock mines) and then i got fired upon, the thargoid peeled off and was looking at the npc, i was a little stunned and didnt know what to do and got too close to the thargoid which attacked me, i ran off but one of these 2 a-holes took me to a rebuy screen for my very first time...
