Anti-Thargoid Equipment after CG

Yes and only 4 of them max.
The caustic resistance was removed with 2.01. I'm guessing the HRP resistance modules aren't supposed to be available yet.
:-( still though if i can get it to 80% with two launchers (missing alot of shots and leaving once half dead) im sure someone staying in the fight with 4 and moving better with more hull could 1v1 it.
like down to 80% twice (making about 60%) with two that means 20% with 4 and better aiming + aiming for the hearts will kill it easily
From the videos of wings killing them, it seems like you can't kill it until you get all 4 hearts. They've all looked pretty beat up too. I think you're underestimating how long it'll take to solo 4 hearts and then the hull. Maybe you'll get lucky and survive the EMP.
If it was so easy to solo, I'm sure SDC would have claimed that 1st already as well.

thing is i got to 80% not hitting the hearts lol i just took 2 hearts out on my own though in the same asp will try get my gunship over and use a fight for a distraction

Woot! Looks like I'm replacing the multicannon!
So tonight I learnt that a half decent Cobra MK3 can actually make pretty decent..... target practice for a Thargoid

I had a Beam Laser, Pulse laser, multicannon and AX rocket thingies. Managed to grab a scan of the ship while it was scanning me, almost like a 'I show you, you show me' type thing

Just so folks know, you can get the Experimental Anti Xeno modules in 109 Piscium at Jemison Installation and receive the LYR discount.
Actions (and the lack thereof) have consequences. Folks didn't seem too interested in increasing the CG tiers to make that happen. Maybe next time they will.

Yeah isn't Jameson suppose to be a backer thing where it carries all the gear to add to your ship or has FD decided to drop this?
It was only a prestige reward to get into founders world, wasn't stated what founders world would have.
New stuff is only available planet-side. It's apparently part of the horizons paid content, as with engineers and gear like Palin's cargo racks. *And anyone with access to Founders world via kickstarter also has the lifetime expansion pass, so those guys are still covered for the new kit.

I have to wonder... why does the fixed version use more power and have more thermal load than the turreted one? You would think a fixed missile launcher would use less power than a turreted missile launcher firing and reloading at the same rate...
The fixed do more damage, so I suppose if the fixed launcher is firing larger missiles and if they're fired using some kind of electromagnetic catapult system, that might justify it...

Oh so the new weapons are like engineers weapons, so are thargoids popping up in space for non horizon players?
@Rankaze my guess the thinking was they do more damage so need more disadvantage/cost for balance sake.

Don't need to tell me mate. I was one of the top 10 commanders for the Palin CG and slipped to top 10% unfortunately.
