Anti-Xeno ship reviews

I've just rediscovered the joy of Thargoid scout dogfighting.

  • Step 1 : Buy and 'A' rate either a Cobra or Viper.
  • Step 2: Fit 2 Class 2 fixed AX Cannons, and class 1 beam lasers, Thargoid Scanner and Decom limpet launcher.
  • Step 3: Go looking for Non Human Signal Source (Threat 3).
  • Step 4: Take on the scouts for a real 'Dakka Dakka' type dog fight.
It feels like every one of those kills are earned. Going to have to try the 4's and above in a wing though. I can just about handle a 2 vs 1 fight but it's a lot more fun than just cutting down scouts in my T-10

Questions:
1. Where's the ship's fit ?
2. Is it possible to wait for such videos on large ships ?

1. The ship fit will be provided when i do the review video. The video you've linked is not a review

2. I'm not a large ship pilot generally, they do not make as effective a ship for AX combat.

though ships like the Clipper can be flown with cold-orbit technique so i covered it and soon Orca will be reviewed.

I will probably not review the slow big ships though, so no Anaconda, Corvette, or Type 10. They require a different kind of flight technique that I am not proficient or interested in. There are plenty of other pilots in the AXI that use them though and i'm sure you can find examples on youtube :)

Woah! I just found this thread (better late than never) by Commanderette Katie, who is the scourge of the Thargoids.
Who brings fear and woe in the hearts (all of em) when her name is but a mere whisper.
Who causes much trembling among those of the mulit-hearts.
Who's name will echo and haunt their children's childrens children's children's hair stylists.
Who very presence causes them acid reflux. (pay back!)
Who's eyes bring terror and scorn to......... (OK I've definitely gone over the top by about 20,000 lys)

Cmdr Katie, do you simply love killing Thargoids for sport and profit or are you hoping for a peaceful resolution to the conflict?
(if I don't know the answer to that already I should quit playing! Hmmmmm?? Naaaaaaah 🤪)

Here's your next big challenge; Just try being nice and polite; and say loving, nurturing things to them. Maybe even offer em a bouquet of daisy's.
I like to think that a good dose of kindness can have far reaching, positive Galactic benefits for all living things.

OK, so, when yer done laughing, then calm yourself (slow down your breathing. In and out) get out and blast the filthy spawn back to the nearest parallel dimension!

What I really would like to know is"What is your preferred go to ship"?

Thank you.

I saw the comments on YouTube and I think these ships belong to different classes:
one class is FAS-Chieftain, another class is Python-KraitMK2-Challenger.
Different classes and slightly different style.
(this is purely my opinion)

But what I can't understand is the location of YOU energy priorities. Why 2 weapons cost 1 priority ?

And also about the cabinet amplifiers.
Do you have any extra power ?
2D GHRP = 277 vs 2D HRP+ing(HD+DP) = 359.

setting weapons to priority 2 means that if your powerplant gets damaged and ends up in reduced output you can still use your thrusters to escape. Powerplant damage is a real possibility in big multigoid fights

And Python is different in a way yes as it's slower than a basilisk. it can still orbit though :) But the Krait/Challenger/Chieftain are all mostly the same. Medium ships that can orbit :)

Probably difficulties with translation :(
You has 2 weapons with 1st priority.

I agree, I compared more by classes of basic modules.
As far as I remember, Python is more maneuverable than Krait, but inferior in speed.
