Any general interest in ship miniatures for ED?

I know its been done before for Eve, but I'm just curious how many (if any) would find it cool to be able to buy a real life miniature of your favorite ship in game? Frontier store already has a line of merch (Tshirts, mugs, etc), but to my knowledge has never offered anything like a physical ship miniature/paperweight (or have they???). Personally I think it might be kind of cool (not that I'm advocating Fdev actually shift resources to do something like this), but maybe I'm just a weird one. What do you all think?

Its been said before and the answer was always a yes.

I personally would love an Airfix model for my Fav ships.

I would £$.

Someone did make an awesome AspX Lego set.

Yes, it's the only way I will ever own a cutter.

Lol

YES!!!

I love collecting BattleTech miniatures and have been thinking of buying some Firestorm Armada ships to scratch my space ship mini inch. Would buy them in a heartbeat.

AFAIK they didn't.
A shame really.

Miniatures? No.
But I'd gladly take a life-sized Orca.

Four Volvo Penta D6 Stern engines would probably push it along the water at a very nice clip.

Although it is pretty close to ten times the length of my Atlantis.. maybe upgrade to twin MAN CR V12's... the folks at the yacht club would be sick!

Iiirc a separate company to FD got a licence and did a run of sand-stone models or something like that back in 2015. Unfortunately it didn't do too well and they got discontinued.

I'd get a few die cast metal ones. Not sure I have the patience for an air-fix style kit.

I've said it before but maybe something like the Sins of a Solar Empire collectors edition model just for the Cobra III would be ace, the detail was great. 2nd pic gives scale.
