Any idea why I can't scan these?

I'm working on my exobiologist rank, flying to planets with atmos and scanning life forms.

For some reason I am unable to scan these:

I am pretty sure those are Startus Tectonicas but they cannot be scanned and neither do they show up on the scanner tool.
Am I missing something?

I can scan other things (bacteria, fonticulua, osseus etc.).

I scanned some space plants earlier this morning but had no issues.

I got 60fps on a planet for a good 3 seconds. I'll raise a ticket as this can't be right.

There has been a type of stratum tectonica that was bugged and unscannable like this from the odyssey launch.

I don't want to litter the already overfilled Issue Tracker... so before I report this - Is anyone able to verify this?
Can someone try to scan these buggers?

Doesn't affect every Stratum Tect, but some of them have never been scannable.

Tectonicas in L star-orbiting planets are unscannable. FDev is aware

It used to be a known bug in past updates, however it had been fixed at some point. I would not be surprised if the bug has re-emerged.

This made me chuckle, because at some point yesterday I had 3 fps on a planet for a good 60 seconds!

But then again, I run EDO on a lemon powered potato, so I generally don't talk about performance because I can't tell whether it's the game or my trusted toaster.
