Any third party tools still available for console?

Hello together!

I'm a new Pilot on console, and meanwhile I figured out that I can't connect my account to Inara nor EDSM. Are there any third party tools still working with console accounts? It's such a great game and it kinda makes me sad to be left behind.

Negative. Sorry.

No after consolegate the third-party apps didn't want to run two different versions and seeing that Legacy ( consoles ) was dead in the water with no development we got shelved ( no disrespect to the thirdparty sites ) . Fdev themselves I think relied heavily on them to provide information which they themselves never put in game ( it's was always a "that will do " attitude )

The other problem is that even if the third party sites had wanted to run two versions, the bulk of the incoming data always came from PC desktop tools, rather than the console import links, so you just can't provide much actual service. I considered it for mine (and the source code is available if anyone else wants to) but it was very clear after the first week that there just wouldn't be the data available to make it work.

There's http://edlegacy.iloveitmore.com.au/ which does track the market data for Legacy as a lightweight EDDB replacement; as you can see, there's not a lot of data there.

I have built a iOS app to scan your engineering mats and sync them to Inara so you can use the crafting lists to determine how to trade missing mats. However, with the change in engineering rules in the live galaxy, it is much less useful now.
I did and do build some search tools for our squad, mainly for BGS stuff and trade but those are squad only, sorry.

so nice of you to share this information with us

Well, I have posted the link to my iOS app in another thread. do I need to post it here again. free to use.
As for BGS stuff, obviously that is not for public consumption.

Inara is still useful and Edtool.cc

Thats not true. For example if I need to find a meterial trader, or find out were ships might be sold, I can look that up on Inara. It is not 100% but it helps. I use EDTOOLs all the time for Road to Riches, and Mining Hotspots. These tools work and help out a lot.
They do not track legacy.
The question as I took it was for prices, states, BGS, PP etc which they don't track. ( Like the good ole days when inara eddb edastro were the bookmarked favourites for all on console and pc ).
I never saw the need for R2R, but any exploration in Legacy after consolegate isn't registered, so can be out .
Anything that needs active data, prices, states, BGS, PP all will be incorrect as they are EDO only.
The galaxy map can be used to get some data but is clunky at best ( hence the need for third party tools)

I'm a hardcore Ps4 player and I have found work arounds for most things. BGS information, and prices can be found in galaxy map. Currently I'm in a war with a player faction and I publish reports everyday for my squad knows what to do. About 3 months ago a CMDR, found an undiscovered guardian site 15K LY from the bubble and it was very exciting. We have groups that report the locations of mining locations and who is paying top dollar for mats. Still Inara was nice and I do miss it. I just get angry about how Frontier turned there back on us. My mission is to rebuld the PS4 community.

Yeah I hear ya and agree with you totally( you can look at my thread history )

The more people who play the easier it becomes and running milk runs becomes less tiresome .

I'm not hard core now ( I used to be min of 2 hrs every day plus weekends ) now I'm just bimballing around just doing stuff that I fancy. Logging on when the mood takes me ( SF and NMS as well)

My old squadron did do a few leader boards mostly exploration but we did manage trade and CQC gold . Before consolegate .

Now with a more active squad on Xbox which brings back the old feel.
