Any update on if pc users will get the console vers. additions?

Back before the Console Edition launched we were told "We have nothing to announce" re the quality of life changes as well as extra content that version of the game has, coming to the pc version. What's the situation now, Frontier? 😋
It's been a minute.

I appreciate they're now separate builds of the same game but you're putting the time into porting the DLC packs over to the console version. Can we see the same thing done for the pc version to give it a bit of love with these tweaks/tools/extra bits of content?

I popped back in here to see if there was anything to lure me back. What had console gotten that PC does not have?

Honestly, I think (and this is my own opinion) that the game is dead on pc. Frontier is not being honest with us in telling us the truth! They made a lot of money with us and they hope to make that much with the Console. It has been about a year and a half since we have had any news and I think Planco 2 is a myth. If that was their intention, they would have given us little messages to make us wait ...... But: nothing !! Like many players, I abandoned this game, which is unplayable - except for small parks ... What a pity, they did not materialize what could have been a great game, with the thousands of players on the planet , who have now moved on to something else !! Really, disappointed by Frontier's commercial policy, which has no concern for its players, except to take their money for a poorly studied game, when the time has come! . (n) (n) 😡

More restrictability in the amount you can build. And a themed coaster train.

They are still some dlcs behind on the pc.
Pc version is still better.

Well,I'm actually still playing finally finishing my unfinished parks and uploading them. Sometimes I loose the motivation tho, because of restrctions or certain functions simply not being there or being annoying as hell, hoping that Planco 2 would fix them. Since Console Edition is now only 2 DLCs and the 3 small DLCs away from being complete, I got some hope back that there will be an announcement or atleast a Sneek Peek this year either at E3 or any other virtual gaming event or an announcement later this year, maybe for Plancos Anniversary, for Planet Coaster 2.;)

Keep your hopes, I'm pretty sure Frontier hasn't forgotten about this community after they spend years establishing and interacting with it. They are probably working on something behind the scenes. Atleast I've noticed a lot of activity on Steam DB over the last month. This could be for console or mac editions, but it's a hint that they are still working on the game. Stay strong original Planco Community! The Sun will shine on us again!:sneaky:

Even if we have to wait for a long time still...

while they're derping around with console and puting out rct3 in 1080p and no new content. computation is nipping at their heels parkiect has multiplayer indoorlands has gone ea

It really does feel like Frontier is letting Planet Coaster on PC "die on the vine". No teasers. No promises of future development. No...anything. A long time ago, there was a statement that Frontier was "in talks" with a major licensing partner. Some interpreted that as Disney. However, Frontier never said that these talks produced anything or were tied in any way to Planet Coaster. The best you can hope for is that somewhere down the road, they'll start the hype machine for a new theme park simulator of some sort, and potentially offer current Planet Coaster owners with an insignificant "reward". That could be the opportunity to beta test, an "early access weekend", or something similar. I would definitely not expect a purchase discount specifically for Planco owners since Frontier has generally avoided undercutting their profits on their other titles.

Do not forget how Frontier has treated us PC users. I say boycott their next games, some other company will make their own coaster game. Remember Maxis and how they screwed up Simcity? City Skylines is the new champ because of it.

And back then when there were DLCs they promised us that they would tell us when they would stop supporting the game, but they never said PC Planco is finished, they just stopped supporting it and created a new concole community, leaving the PC players hanging in mid-air for around 2 years now. All it would have taken is an official confirmation that they are done with the PC Version,so we can wait patiently wait for a Sequel, but they decided to tell PC players nothing and just release console edition.I'm not angry or anything, it's just sad after the great community we had with the PC Version.😢

They've treated me with a great game and great content in a period of 4 years.
I won't forget.

I think you're referring to some leaks that happened. Everything described in the those leaks came true and the final thing we're waiting on is Planet Coaster 2 which was going to have a partnership with Disney potentially. So much can change over the course of developing a game and I don't think it's likely they'd announce a sequel so soon after the console version.
That being said, everything else in the leak came true; Elite Dangerous DLC; Jurassic Park DLC for JWE; Planet Zoo etc...

Ghostbusters was in it too,the leak was before that in 2019.

Man, I HOPE they DON'T do the Disney thing... That will kill the game before it begins. It'll be buggy, filled with self-marketing, barely playable, and red-taped to hell, for modding and user-DLC.

Please, if you want to EVER see the game exist, resembling anything like it is now, but better... Beg them NOT to bring Disney into the mix. Let them create DLC, great, but do NOT let them "manage the game development". (Manipulate with self-interested, ill intent.)

I have about 8 Disney games, for the kids, and they can barely be played, or enjoyed, they are so horribly programmed. You are talking about a place that thrives on paying the least and asking for the most, because they are "Disney", but end-up driving everyone away, leaving half-baked productions that just drain your wallet as they fade away into oblivion. I know too many people who worked for Disney... It's like McDonalds... Disney has hired everyone with a dream, crushed those dreams, used them in the process, and discarded them without even giving them a white managers shirt. At-least McDonalds gives you the training and the shirt, as if you might actually become manager. :p

A better "foundation" to be chasing-down, for assistance in creation, would be NVIDIA and AMD themselves, or even UNITY or UNREAL, to turn this into a "flagship game". They would get $100 to do a $10 job, and have superior resources to make sure it gets done, the way it is "envisioned".
