any way to get your name in the codex anymore?

Pretty much the only reason I play this game anymore is the hope of one day getting my name in the codex for a first discovery.
Just stopped in for my first exobiology dump. 4 pages worth. No luck. Everything I had, had been scanned within the first 2 days of Odyssey.
Is there anything left, or is all found already?

We'd need to get the list of the current different bio/geos available in game (with their different colros, etc), then examine all regions to see which ones are still not appearing in the codex in each region. It would be a matter of going to one of those regions and spend time searching for the right planet/system conditions trying to get lucky.

It's definitely possible - but you increasingly need to know what is (most likely) still missing and specifically seek that.

I made like 15 Codex 1st Discoveries in the Empyrean Straits during the last weeks and there's still clearly blank spots.
I also scored one 1st Discovery in the Galactic Center last week, so even in busy areas it's not impossible.

Time is ticking, though.
If you pick a suitable Galactic Sector, move there fast and get to work, you should be able to tag a few Codex Discoveries.

Here you go then: the Compendium of Codex requirements has what you're looking for.
I recommend making a copy and marking down which species (and which colours) have been found in the region you're surveying.

Still plenty of Codex tags to be had out there, even if for some reason not all species appeared everywhere, as there are usually only a few where all colours have been tagged already.

If you want it to be in the Inner Orion Spur it's definitely very hard.
If you move away from IOS it's pretty easy as most regions a hundreds of codex entries behind IOS, there's no day I don't add new things to the codex in the region I'm in.
So get yourself out of IOS and you'll have no problems.
Also you don't need to sell anything to get something in the codex, you just need to scan it and it will immediately be added.

That was my thinking. I was in temple for all of my finds. all were found already.
I guess Ill pray and keep playing.
