Don't remember exactly where, but it's somewhere in the information in your right hand systems panel.
It's in your status panel, Statistics, under Exploration.

In the functions tab you should have a timer detailing days/weeks in game.
Failing that I think Eddiscovery gives you a full break down of hours played as well as other useful analysis.
Thanks ya'll, much appreciated. I thought I Iooked at all of the panels. Im a blind squirrel, I will find that nut eventually!
Of course you'll have to math it - #of Weeks * 7 days, number of days *24 hours, + # of hours + # of minutes, then you'll know your total hours that could have been spent with a hot book or a good woman... or whatever ;-)

I prefer the more scientific method.
-Is your skin pale and eyes pained by sunlight?
-Do other humans still bother trying to communicate with you?
-Have you installed a refrigerator next to your cockpit... I mean, chair?
-Do you have more meaningful conversations with Voice Attack that those other carbon sacks you know?
If you answered no to these, then you haven't played enough.
