Anybody else hanging when exiting Orbital flight to Glide in open play?

Hi,

Whenever i go to Quince and the planet Kosmala (i think) when exiting orbital flight and going into Glide it just hangs while in the mode where the transistion is and then crashes to main menu saying "server match making failed". I get this every single time in open play and im forced to play solo mode. This never used to happen over 1 year ago when i used to play, on my machine the game has become worse in that way as ive never suffered any issues before....

Any ideas?

I wonder if it has to do with so many cmdrs suiciding as soon as their scans are done? Like the game is trying to match people to the same instance, but then a player suicides so that instance isn't viable anymore?

I got this repeatedly around 4am BST this morning around in less travelled systems around Shinrarta. No other players present according to the bandwidth, no problems in pg/solo.

I'll try when the beta's back up and log if there's still a problem.

This happened a few times to me last night at one of the engineer's bases. Eventually timed out with matchmaking server error. Haven't had a chance to play today, as am setting up Oculus Rift... :D

I wasn't doing planetary landings, but I had to bail to solo due to lagging while jumping.
This was not in the bubble either.

Open is a terrible place - not because of the people, but because of their connections.
Every time I go in there it's like rubber-bands on bungee cords on pogo sticks on trampolines during an earthquake on boat in a tsunami.

As a result, I've basically written it off, as it's just not playable.

But I have seen this happen - especially at busy locations. It's nearly almost always a result of latency somewhere.
