Anyone else already tired of belt clusters?

Is there any way to turn off the notification for discovering a belt cluster? I already have them filtered in the nav panel but they still show up when you discover them. Some systems have quite a few.
It seems a little pointless to display the fact that you found something that you don't get any credits for, and you don't get a discovery tag for. Or has that changed now?

I think there will be a lot of kinks and various things that FD overlooked.
This always happens especially when you have an update of this magnitude.
My plan is to wait it out, let them fix the major bugs.
give it some time and then venture forth. learn the new systems...

Yes. A notification for each and every belt cluster is a bit much. They keep popping up on my HUD even after I have jumped out of the system. I think they could have coded something more efficient.

After several thousand more light years traveled, I'd like to suggest a solution. Just display a single message of 'Multiple Asteroid Belt Clusters Detected' instead of one for each.

Has anybody tryed mining them yet? Exploding some rocks? They might actually have some purpose now.

I went to visit a belt long ago in deep space. It was like five little rocks all hanging out in a group.

So it was a rock group, then? What were they playing?

(I'll get my coat...)

I've never dropped out at one. I always wondered what they looked like; now I know, thanks :)

I actually like the current state of things. Scanning asteroid clusters used to be so unrewarding and obscure thing to do that you would almost forget about them. So they are finally getting scanned. Asteroids close to a black hole can be eerie places.

At least a few were tired of it during beta1.

It really is just silly. It spams IN YOUR FACE and in the info panel. Just leave it for the info panel only, FDev.

I tried mining them - and yes, Deep Core Asteroids do indeed spawn in Belt Clusters:

After I found this destructible asteroid, I dropped into a few other Belt Clusters to see if I could find some more - and of the five Belt Clusters I visited, three had a Deep Core Asteroid! So, if you're having trouble finding rocks to blow up, try going to some Belt Clusters!

(And when you get there, don't just ping your Pulse Wave Scanner once, see nothing, and go - because it seems that the new destructible asteroids can take a few moments to spawn in. Fly around for a while, maybe fight the pirate, and then scan.)
