I usually play at night before bed from a VERY comfortable chair, so dosing off while playing happens. I know I'm giving haters a chance to say that ED is boring or whatever, but that's not at all the point of this post, and I've fallen asleep in the middle of online COD matches so it's either an extremely comfortable chair, I have narcolepsy, or both. So you can see how toward the end of my gaming session being in supercruise aimed at anything over 10,000 ls away is a recipe for potential unconscious autopilot. Last night I was hauling some passengers to Wholer in LQ Hydrae for my last run before going to bed, the station is a little over 14,000 ls from the jump and predictably I fell asleep. Not sure exactly how long I was out for, but it was a while because I ended up being .87 LIGHT YEARS from LQ Hydrae

My passengers were understandably angry, I even had a bulk group of tourists refuse to pay me, which was a first, I've only ever had VIP passengers refuse to pay for running behind schedule. Out of 7 Cabins only two super laid back VIPs actually paid me after I jumped over to a neighbouring system, jumped back, and finally got them to Wholer. Does this happen to anyone else? What's the farthest you've let your ship go off reservation while you were AFK or asleep? Tell me, commanders, of your narcoleptic wanderings.
Edited: a word, also the thought of you commanders waking up with a VR headset on sounds hilariously confusing!
