Possibly. When returning from the Formadine Rift almost most systems showed only the sun, no planets. System map also showed blank space. Soon as I did the planetary scan it listed, say, 30 or so planets but still nothing in the sys map. Once I did the FSS though then looked at sys map they were usually all discovered and mapped. Now it may be me but is this the way it is supposed to work anyway?Does this mean these undiscovered/un-mapped systems I'm finding might actually be discovered and mapped and I'm wasting my time with them? I only started exploring again after the update.

The thing is this takes far longer to do than I remember. Is there a thing in the game whereby if you haven't been in a system in a given timescale it initially returns to undiscoverd and you have to do a scan again. It is so confusing, especially when you pop in to a system you discovered and mapped years ago and nothing shows now until you scan again and there is the info.
Denis.
Firsts still work when you turn them in, unless the most recent patch broke that. But last week I was able to claim firsts.Well in the systems I'm in it's not showing any firsts even after FSS. Here's to hoping when I return to the bubble I'll get my deserved First tags.
No, it isn't a serious bug.Any news on that matter? It is a serious bug isn't it?
No, it isn't a serious bug.
Personally I don't like those tags and wish them gone (or at least optionally turned off), but that's beside the point.Systems in the Bubble that are prediscovered so the only tag was "mapped by" have the mapped tags dissapeared. Players into mapping (like me) have spent A LOT of time tagging and mapping systems. I 'd certainly consider that to be a serious bug. Think of what it would mean for exploring if first tags were to disappear.
I've spent considerable time spreading my name throughout the galaxy, yet I find myself agreeing with you.Personally I don't like those tags and wish them gone (or at least optionally turned off), but that's beside the point.
Objectively speaking it's a minor visual bug. Certainly not gamebreaking.
I think there are many people that don't especially like them, but where do you see the gripe? Each new day I learn something new that people gripe about. So why are first tags so upsetting now? I obviously missed the rants.
