Anyone else notice the wording in the newsletter?

you know... after reading the OP i realise that
this is the usual mistake that let you think that FD is not very experienced in marketing and dealing with the customers.

the big lesson missed here is: ''simply you can't leave any kind of misunderstanding in what you write on newsletters and into the advertisements.''

I would wager this is their true greatest failing, far beyond programming or design anything. Their marketing is full of this kind of vaguery since forever. This isn't THE example but it's indicative of the marketing in general.
 
I suspect that they have had the stuff in 2.3 longer than perhaps some of the stuff in 2.2. The delay in 2.2 along with all the required jiggering likely gave the 2.3 development team (they do have several teams working on separate point updates) time to get their stuff ready on schedule.

Basically... If 2.2 hadn't been delayed, and delayed again by additional jiggering, 2.3 should have been out by now.
