Engineers Anyone find any neat weapon modification combos?

Here's what you do to dish out maximum damage on a corvette. You buy:

A huge multicannon.
A huge multicannon.
A large multicannon.
A medium multicannon.
A medium multicannon.
A small multicannon.
And a small multicannon.

Then you overcharge them rank 5. Incendiary rounds and corrosives included.
Pretty much. Take the strongest weapon in the game, and then apply the strongest modifications + strongest special effects in the game to it.

So, what happens if you combine that with Premium synthesized ammo? Do you get the 30% on top of all that?

Tired of ships skitting around you like flies?
You want to bring them on par with your bucket-of-war?

Missile Drag munitions!
I run quad packhounds 2 drag and soon 2 thermal cascade for added utility when shields are up.
Also if you have a ship with a primary means of disabling shields try out super penetrator railguns from behind,
they'll tear all the modules apart.

I haven't played much since Engineers dropped, but this thread makes me want to go back to it.

Would a multicannons only FdL with overcharged, incendiary and corrosive upgrades be a good idea? I've been meaning to try the FdL again if it would ever have a decent jump range, and FSD upgrades now make that possible.

the best weapons combo is full "Incendiary" "overcharged" Multicanon, put them everywhere. They are by very far the most brutal, efficient and reliable weapon. They are ultra effective against shields, hull and modules, doesn't require no power or distributor.

just forget about the rest.
