I'm also stuck at the launcher. The exe crashes when I try to log in.

In game. Seems a little slower than normal but no real problems (Uk based).

Could be a higher than normal server load due to recent update changelogs and steam keys?

Yep, it said my account wasn't available. When I logged out and tried to log back got "unexpected response from server"
Something looks to be broken at the moment!

Keep trying. Think the servers are just extremely busy for some reason. The Store web site is also down...

I got unexpected response from server ... I restarted my PC and was then able to log in and launch the game.

Just had another couple of attempts to get into the standard game (nothing involving Steam!) and got failed to connect to authentication server. Seems somebody misjudged what would happen when Steam keys were released.....
Edit: Just tried again, got in this time....

Had some trouble to log in and start the game. It seems to be okay now. FD has probably been moving some stuff around.
