Anyone having crashing issues?

Hopefully FDev are busy decoding all the blue screen feedback I assume everyone has been uploading from the PS4 for all our issues.

I was disconnected several times last night, in the space of an hour, 5 or 6. With messages saying cant connect to Either Matchmaking or Transaction server. It got soo frustrating I stopped playing. This is intermittent for me. A few weeks ago there was a major PSN issue and leading up to that I had frequent disconnections. After that it was pretty good for a few weeks only disconnect once in a while. However, since beyond patch it has been frequent once again. And as ever, I have other online games and services that do not experience these issues so I dont accept its just my connection.

Yeh that's a different thing, I think people here are talking about hard crashes to the PS4 menu with an error code. What you are seeing is more of a disconnection issue. I have had one or two with the new version.

Lastnight I crashed twice and was disconnected 3 times. PS4 Pro.

I had a crash last night as I was about to glide in to Farseer base. Only one i’ve had so far apart from the numerous crashes at the Lawman meet yesterday.

PS4 Pro here as well.

Worked fine last night and I've only played for close to 3hrs today and it's crashed five times.

I played 4 hours this morning in open, crashed a half dozen times, I haven't had on crash until this last update since launch. I went back to solo for the the last 4 hours, it hasn't crashed once. Hmmmm. Looks like at back to solo for me.

UPDATE:

Played an additonal 4 hour in solo, not one crash. Gotta be something in open causing it. Thinking back, every time it crashed, I was as the Duck says "Planet Side". Hope that helps FDev!

seems as it has some relation to Open. it's weird as I had one crash (blue screen) yesterday .. was playing in Open but I'm sure there was _ NOT_ player nearby, as I'm in the middle of nowhere ... I landed on planet and game crashed after I dismissed ship ...

I may try solo tomorrow doing the things I was doing today when it crashed (planet-side stuff), multiple times I might add. I don't think it's the new planet graphics, because I can go quite some time with great framerate while displaying really complex (and amazing looking) terrain.

Crashed like heck yesterday - all the darn time. Crashed in my SRV, crashed launching my ship, crashed docking my ship, crashed looking at the mission board, at the mission board, at the mission board, then the servers went down for EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE - no kidding.

I'll check in an hour....

Crashed on me today as well, always at Sol nav beacon with error code CE-38700-8
Played yesterday and was ok, but previous to that crashed 3 times all at sol within half hour.
Same error code.

It's not crashed at the same time though

Accessing outfitting caused the first crash, then about 40-50 mins later whilst in 'glide' mode approaching a planet and then about an hour after that I engage hyperdrive and when the 3.2.1 voice comes on, as it hits 2.. crash.

is this a known thing or is the problem at my end?

I got to 1 fps, visiting the guardians site in open. I killed the game before it maybe crashed.

I've only had this whilst in Sapill. When I googled it, I found lots of results with that code in other games. The common theme was that it was to do with networking. Are you instancing with specific people? I've been on a LOT this week, and noticed lots of hollow squares around, but not had any crashes other than the one I mentioned. I wonder if there are specific conditions between the players in the instance that are causing this.

I winged up with a random guy at one of the guardian sites and it was totally fine. Later that evening was a different story though with multiple crashes within a few minutes of meeting up. Eventually gave up and logged off.
