Anyone know the shortest jump between systems?

I've stumbled across two stars which are less than a light year apart. Currently trying to reach maximum SC speed to see how long it would take without jumping ( I know it can't be done!) I wondered if anyone knows if there is a shortest recorded jump?

Stars are 0.61 lyr apart.

Screen shot to follow...

IIRC the shortest distance between systems is well shorter than that, could be even 0.05 LY - anyway shorter than the distance between component stars in the largest systems (like Sigma Orionis, which is 0.27 LY across).

I'm guessing also that out toward the core things get a bit more compact.

Yeah, the gamma galactic forge, which I guess was the base for the bubble region, was a bit relaxed on its rules. :)
I haven't checked if that distance is still there, if it is, I guess it shows that the galactic forge is a constant design, as those stars would have moved away from each other over the years since they were found. Or collided...
