I got an Galaxy S3 so I am Android User :p
Could also make it for my Tablet which is using Win7 if your on it :p

Till then cant use it unfortunately.

Don't even want the iPad or iPhone 6, waiting on the Android version.
Any idea on when we could see it and "Soon" isn't a valid answer?

Also can you use the app to buy cargo from the system you're currently in?
IE use is as a mobile ship console while playing the game.

Amen, I really hate the fact that mostly gaming companies publish their apps on the green fruit thing first, even though there are more android users worldwide.
That´s really annoying. *whyneoff*

I understand your point and I am an Android user myself, the basic fact of why iOS stuff always appears first is that Apple have only one current version of their OS at any one time whereas Android have as many different versions of the OS as there are different types of handsets.
So to make an app that works on all of iOS handsets is a doddle but to make it work for all of Android many types is an actual nightmare.

Ambiguous login "Enter commander details", with only the error message giving the sense that it is an email address that is required in the Login box.
Countless tries to log in on iPad and iPhone since launch of this app and no joy even after receiving the verification email.
Looking at reviews for the app in iTunes, most say the same thing - "can't log in".

Come on FD - I know (and hope) this isn't a priority but I'm sure the App developer(s) isn't working directly on the game and can spend a bit of time to get this totally fundamental issue resolved.

Plenty of apps appear on Android first. I suspect the real reason for apps appearing first on Apple when they do is that middle-aged company execs tend to own iphones because they still think it's cool ;)

It's simply easier to develop for iOS devices and cover a larger audience with a base level of development. Devices, and more importantly features on those devices, are less fractured in the iOS market than for Android.

As 90%+ of the iOS user-base always upgrade to the latest iOS release, you also have less of a fractured user-base by Operating System (how many Android devices are on the very latest version?).

tldr; It's easier to test device variations for your app in iOS than Android.

Wonder when the app will get updated with the new ships and proper detail of own ship and standard abilities of the stock ships.

Still not working. Email/password login works randomly but I'm stuck at the security token which always is invalid...

Same here. More work on that App....
Why is there a userid on the forums that appears to be tied to the email ID of the game? The App attemps appear to be kicking me out of the forum.

Last I checked android dev tools have a broad support for emulating speeds of various devices, so I don't think this is an issue really, and depending on what the app does it might not be that demanding, doubt its 3d or such?
So it could be made to a minimum spec easily enough, fact is though that apple/ios is more hyped/cool/whatever word is used now a days, in the general public's eye currently.
This is not meant to be a kick at apple, I don't have a preference for either, I chose what suits me best, and I think others should chose what suits them best, and since we all are different it means different things.

That said I would really love to see people begin using the tools that offer easy compiling of both versions more, as long as no proprietary components/functions are used, which all things considering I don't think this app would make use off. Heard those compilers work quite well even for optimizing.

IOS app is not working for me as well.
Downloaded it days ago and can't login no matter what I try.

I'd log a ticket, but from the support I have gotten of late re Ghost Cargo issues, there's little point.

This is getting really annoying, I haven't been able to login once since it launched, whats going on? Presumably its not the same people working on the app as the game, so why so long without a fix?
