Thousands of years of a society cooped up inside a ship, adrift from the rest of humanity, with a small breeding population and nowhere to run? If the first we hear of them isn't some horrific tale of an outpost devoured by cannibals wanting revenge on a species that left them to go Space Crazy I'm going to be vaguely disappointed.
