Applause for VR in ED from a NASA scientist

Whilst I'm kicking around waiting for my first VR kit to arrive, and also for the new Beyond chapter, I've been scouring the internet for reviews, set-ups, -bits and pretty much anything VR/Odyssey or ED related when I came across the following from a couple of years back on Reddit.

Apologies if it's old news here, it's the first time I've heard of it and has me very excited to receive my headset.

......if nothing else, there are some links to a few great images.

First headset arrived this week, should get time to set it up this weekend. Looking forward to it, though must admit I'm slightly apprehensive it will be disappointing.

Yes, I understand that level of apprehension. I know the resolution will leave a lot to be desired compared to my screen res so I’m hoping the ‘experience’ will be something akin to what was written in the linked Reddit post.

Which headset did you go for? Although, having asked that, it would be nice if the answer was kind of redundant if the fact that simply opting for VR was enough of a ‘game changer.’

You’ll find out before me so I hope you’re as happy as I hope to be

you'll love it. it's pretty solid for games like this where controllers and fluff not required.
if only it had a higher FoV....

Trust me... its 10000000x better in VR you will literally know what its like to be a Commander in Future Space
