Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this so forgive me if not. I'm interested in defecting to Delaine his weekend and then want to rush to level 5 over the next few days. I'm happy to pay to do so and I want to try and make a difference in PP as much as one person really can.
im still getting to grips with the ins and outs of PP and have some questions regarding Delaine in particular if anyone can help me with them. Firstly what is the best way to make credits in a helpful manner? Is combat oriented PP with Delaine viable? I'm not particularly bothered if the rank 5 bonus isn't as useful as others from a money making standpoint. However are there any advantages that you all make use of from this? I'd love to play as a pirate assassin if possible and can see the no fines / bounties bonus helping with the 'kill authority / traded ship' missions. Would you say this is viable?
I guess I'm interested to learn how you make use of being pledged to Delaine and for those of you who are level five how you manage to maintain this rank in the most beneficial way. Cheers in advance for any guidance you can provide. Hope to see you all out there.
Smuggling is how I make money.
(forget what the descriptions tell you on the PP screen about weapons and slaves) Narcotics and Tobacco are legal in all our control systems, and are sold in agricultural stations with a 5% discount.
Our exploited systems do not change the legality of these good, so usually (unless its anarchy or dictatorship) Narcotics and Tobacco are illegal there, and our exploited systems get a 10% bonus to black market prices.
There are many smuggling runs where you can make over 2000cr per ton for narcotics 1 jump away, and maybe 500 - 1200 per ton on the return trip.
You can also go to Torval space (LTT 8517 for example) and buy Imperial slaves at a 10% discount (her bonus) and then sell them in one of our exploited systems with a 10% increase in price, this allows profits of over 4000 per ton, but you will have 3 or more jumps to do, and usually there is nothing to sell on the return trip.
Our expansions are through combat, if you have enough time, a combination of fortifying, expanding (if we have a viable target) and undermining will allow you to maintain a rating of 5.
