cool. Wonder if XONE has same version of galaxy or their owns? Because I play on XONE and almost every system I visited was already taged.. I dont think that there is so much players in preview program and all of them have detailed surface scanners...

Same galaxy. Same background simulation as well.

Unless something has changed, you do not need a Detailed Surface Scanner for a First Discovered tag. There has always been a lot of confusion about that, but you only need a simple surface scan (the passive scan that starts when you approach a targeted stellar body that gives you its name). It's a Detailed Surface Scanner, not a Detailed Surface Scanner, and mainly increases the payout.

Great I was always wondering that. Never tried a surface scan w/o a DSS onboard and there's probably confusion because a lot of times the individual scans after the system honk are sometimes casually referred to as detailed scans.
