I wonder if I will be able to rename my drones as ''Minions'' and send them on missions of mercy to stranded pilots who ran out of fuel now....? Then ask extortionate amounts of credits for the fuel.......
This is similar to clock watching at work. The theory is, if where you work, you are facing a clock, every day, especially Friday's, you'll start looking at the clock to see how long until your shift ends. Very quickly you are looking at the clock every 5 minutes, then every minute and time drags and the end of your shift seems to take forever. If you're not watching a clock, the shift speeds by and it's going home time before you know it.
So those waiting for 1.3 ... go do something else for the day, keep yourself busy. Before you know it, 1.3 will be released. If you sit there watching the forum, it'll be forever until 1.3 is released.
Me? I'm playing Minecraft.
is the beta a separate client or updates the regular one, and does progress get wiped?
a.k.a. should I bother installing or not
What if every single backer made some massive agreement not to leak ANYTHING and just left the entire remainder of the playerbase in the dark... I'm liking this idea >![]()
It will (almost certainly based on previous Beta versions) be a separate client. Progress in the released version is not affected by anything that happens in the Beta version.
On the bright side if its out by noon it wont be allday but simply all nightI can't wait for us to clog up their download servers and cause each other to all have horrible freezing issues and take all day to download it when its finally released! Then again that happens with major updates, the fact that this is just a beta will hopefully minimize downloads enough that the launcher freezing stuff doesn't hit us up.
this thread is new and refreshing
