Well Michael did say they would let us know. But that could be 1 minutes notice or it could be 24 hours notice. Given that there have now been 6 beta patches, I wouldn't mind betting they will release tomorrow.

The two sides of people who want it released now, and the ones that say it should wait for more development.

I side with release now, because releasing the patch proper to the whole community means they will get maximum feedback; and I strongly believe important changes and upgrades need to be forced on live servers, as it's quite clear that beta testing in games is very flawed indeed. Annoying a select group of beta testers, the percentage of those that actually report stuff, is nothing compared to annoying an entire live community.

People forget that once a patch is released, they don't completely abandon updating those features.

The way that people cry when the slightest thing goes wrong i think it would be a bad move to release until its ready.

it won't be out today,sorry no source but seeing beta 6 patch notes methinks no way as i imagine it will take a day to type up beta 1.3 patch notes.

I am sure it won't be out today.. For one we have just had Beta 6 come online for testing and for two, the expansion is IMHO not ready as there are still bugs being reported and with the amount of people/threads that have opinions regarding the workings of the patch I would expect at least another week of testing / balancing to be on the cards before 1.3 goes live.
FDev are listening to the players and making a few changes based on these discussions. I think there may be a few more tweaks before release.

I wouldnt say it is a total embarrassment, the Kiwis are a very good side these days and been two very competitive matches.
