Are you a PS4 commander?

Come join the Pilot Syndicate 4 squadron.
We are an active squadron with over 200 PS4 members.
We are Leader board contenders, and work together to achieve our goals.
There is no set requirement for our squadron commanders. If you just want to join to feel part of something bigger while you explore the galaxy alone, thats fine. We will be there when you need help or advice o7

So I'm confused - is PS4 for Pilot Syndicate 4 or Play Station 4, or both?
Both, well, that was until Squadrons dropped and we had to use 4 characters in the squadron tag. So our Tag went from [PS4] to [SYN4]
So if we are talking about a PlayStation 4 system we would use PS4. If we are referring to the Squadron, we now use SYN4.
I hope that helps, if not... Can you please clarify your question :)

I am new to the game, just picked it up in Feb. I've got an INARA account and I've managed to do most of the things in the game near the bubble except for get Guardian/Ax Weapons/Upgrades... (and I'm just now trying PowerPlay, though it seems boring and more broken than most other aspects of the game). Mostly I fly around in an engineered Corvette. I'm starting to get bored with Solo, but I know I don't have the skills of the people who have PvP for years, and I don't have billions banked up to cover ship losses.

I'm on the PS4. I play frequently. Most enjoyable formats are Combat Zones (especially with fighting Spec Ops or Capital Ships), Haz Res or High Res, and a mix of trading, exploration and deep core mining. Planetary Assault missions are fun too if they're not bugged with an defensive ship that gets aggro and you can't fight it or you get infamy. Too long on any one thing gets boring, such as scanning planet after planet after planet... or doing 20 round trips to fortify a system while making no money and spending all of my money. The Military Strike zones in PowerPlay seem less fun and less well programmed than the Combat Zones.

I'd kind of like to wing up, get some Guardian stuff and build a ship for fighting Thargoids. I'd like to try fighting in a wing, or using a turret/fighter in someone else's ship (or having them use the extra fighters in my Corvette or Krait Mk2)

I've got a few ships... Diamondback X, Asp X, Krait Mk2, Python, Vulture, Corvette. They're all at least partly or fully engineered.

So what does your squadron do in the game that's fun? What sort of goals do you work together to achieve? What kind of players are you looking for?

Commanders wing up and clear HAZ res or CZs, They head out in small groups collecting mats for engineering or exploring together . We all pull together for the faction when needed and we run CQC en mass once week for fun.
Our Squadron goals are voted on at the start of each season and thats what the majority will then work towards.
We also have daily orders that help direct commanders to achieve these goals the best they can.
However, not all our pilots run in groups. Some fly off on their own exploring or doing their own thing. And that is also fine., because no one is expected to do anything they do not want to.
We are a group of dedicated and casual (some very casual) players. So dont expect a hard line whip pulling everyone in one direction. Thats not what we are about.

If you're not already with squadron and you are unsure, Why not join and jive it a go? It will cost you nothing o7
