Aren't Type-9 a bit too squishy?

I expected T9 to be able to at least handle a little bit of beating but for christ's sake, not mentioning its paper-thin hull, a 6A shield on T9 is almost at the same level of Viper.

It makes me feel extremely insecure....

You are a cargo ship.

In the real world, cargo ships traveling through hostile waters have escorts, such as in the Gulf of Oman where a multinational task force is there to stop the Somali Pirates.

I would recommend finding a buddy if you find yourself flying through hostile space a lot.

Bizzare, I am nearly 2000LY from SOL, always very careful, but voice attack managed to boost me into a freakin huge asteroid... Thought it was game over, only lost 1 layer of shields. that was A5 shields, also managed to kill some cmdr flying an Eagle after he decided to pull me out of SC, the ship handled two attack runs from the Eagle before I toasted him with torpedo's, never even lost a layer of shields.

Have a look at this Video, I manage to scrape the ship on departure and clip a Type-6 on arrival (was doing a speed run). The shields just brush it off..
