Fortifying system at outer ring should be our priority. That's the ones that tend to be undermined.

On the other hand, last minute undermining is also a great idea to make sure the undermining is successful.

Yeah I think so too.
So I will deliver my garrison supplies now to the Cook system.
The system needs about 6000 tonnes and I can transport 4550 tonnes to the system.
So a little bit more is required for Cook!

I don't think it's necessarily as simple as fortifying all our outlying systems. The turmoil should give us a chance to shed some high cost+low income systems, fortifying them and cementing our hold might not be the best course of action.

I have not so much experience with power play...are there no bad consequences (except for the lost of a system) for us to do so?

Highest upkeep systems will collapse first when we are in Turmoil. Aside from this week's last minute undermining of Damoorai, our highest upkeep systems have always been the far outliers. Of course, if we don't finish this cycle in the positive, we will lose Damoorai, and not one of the high upkeep systems.

Also, please continue discussion on the new thread, so that people who view the forum aren't having to juggle two threads.
