Powerplay Arrissa Lavigny-Duval: Bioterrorist

I don't know which I find more annoying:
the notion of "Orders from Arissa herself"
or the notion that "it's rogue players doing it"

It's Imperial High Command (the player group) weaponising a game mechanic following the instructions on GalNet, planted by FDev for some fresh round of content.

My money is on the content associated with the UAs being an Alien Contact / invasion scenario and that it creates a living hell for the stations where it breaks out.
and those stations will have black markets and so will not be ALD.

you know, Fdev - it would be nice to see the Empire face a problem once in a while.
I think it would be good for their character.

You mean like a massive plot to kill the Emperor (which succeeds), internal power struggles, terrorists that threaten all empire citizens? Oh, wait ... this allready happened.

Yeah, but they got access to the Clipper, so it is all good for them, right?

I suspect a new Fed plot to kill ALD and get a free Cutter...

Don't your people have a few more innocents to kidnap and force into brutal, abusive slavery? Or is the Empire making it too hard to keep up with your child trafficking?

It's all well and good when you're the ones committing terrorism, eh?

Don't start a bleeding war through acts of terrorism and then cry "Oh no! Terrorists!" when the Imperial Hammer slams down upon your filthy, festering heads.

Child trafficking? Starting a war through terrorism? I think you've been watching the imperial equivalent of fox news too much

Power struggle? Was that where FD tried to insert interesti g content and the imps cried all over the forums and then sat around in a group hug until FD gave up and just gave the crown to arissa?

I've been spending too much time sifting the sewerage on this one.

It's not actually Arissa.
I find the whole role play thing uh annoying.

It's actually mainly [redacted] and [redacted] from the player group The [Redacted] [Redacted]s.
In cahoots with *sigh* - you know this whole "no naming, shaming, or faming" thing is getting kind of old.

I've made up wanted posters for some of the major in-game criminals, but I've got nowhere to post them except up on the wall in my office, and it kinda spoils the positive vibe to be surrounded by these [expletive redacted]s.

FDev should put some thought into this.
5th Columning and Bioterrorism are legitimate (though unethical) game mechanics.
But they are not executed by "Powers" - we get no orders directly from Mahon or Arissa or Leroy Riu.
These acts are done by PLAYERS.

There should be a structured mechanism for identifying these players publicly.

A kangaroo court and a lynching tree.
No?
How about player groups being able to put bounties on players?
No?
Well maybe Reddit then.
Craigslist?
Here ya go: I'll put five bucks in the post for every confirmed kill of the bloke who pulled the Wolf 412 stunt.
And maybe [redacted] or [redacted] from the Pirates can chuck in tuppence for every kill of the two-blokes-cuddling-on-a-horse dude or his mate who drinks German coffee on his computer. (what a bunch of crypto-fascist, self-important, humorless [redacted]s)

How much fun is Horizons!?

We had the best weekend in the lead up.
Teamspeak was pinging, there was in game shenanigans, and just as horizons dropped our admin opened up a new chat box function on our forum.

Sod this whinging about The Empire, I've got to practice for the buggy race this weekend!

2.The Empire has the Emperor. And I'm pretty sure the Emperor is not interested in such irrelevant matters as the fact that turd like Archon exist, or how he calls himself today or is he wearing pink tutu.

Except for..you know...the many months that we have been bombarded with Imperial propaganda about how the Empire will get rid of him and her Empress has given her blessing on this task. A task that Imperials have failed to achieve until today.

Irrelevant matters? A person shattering your Imperial pride over and over again to the point where you guys have to resort to a fixed CG, lies about the Alliance joining the war and unknown technology to deal a blow is anything but trivial I'd say.

For a group of players who keep on parading about "honor", such a virtue hasn't been demonstrated in months.

Sheepdogs do not worry about the bleating of the wolves.
