Artemis suit temperature range

? Just to let you all know: you can use Artemis in much much higher temps :p
What about over 1400 K ?

If that's not enough, what about 1450 K ?

Artemis lvl3. With temps in that range you can survive less than 40 seconds.

Yeah before I found out the limits I tried the light side, the terminator and the dark side. The temperature range is 831-1,623K.

I originally misremembered it seems, and it is closer. But the planet is only 223Ls from a B class star, so it's pretty warm and bright :D

Could the temperature drop if you go there when its the furthest from the sun?

Yeah, they seem to have changed it so you can disembark, but will take damage as the heat is so high. Reasonable I think.
It would be nice for us to be informed of things like this in the patch notes, so I don't find out when I'm 25 Kylies from the planet I needed to land on! :)

It can indeed and does. I noticed a couple of weeks ago when showing someone the system to explain something that the temperature range was around 500-800K! I had expected some slight changes in temperature, but not that drastic. I did check the orbit and it is a reasonable amount off centre from the B class star it is orbiting, so with an orbital period of 80 days, there is a fairly big window of when it would be within safe ranges. I just happened to arrive initially at the wrong time.

Though now it appears as if all that is academic :D
