It says something that there's more discussion about the site of the article rather than the article itself.

I can associate with the "play one game" mentality. I played Ingress for 2 years almost exclusively because it was interwoven into my everyday life. It has a great sense of community behind it and I feel privileged to have been behind some of the largest national scale activities for the Resistance in the UK.

I gave up Ingress to have more time with my family because it was a HUGE time suck. It was also to clear the decks for me to play ED. I've been playing ED exclusively since release, and my family are much happier since I'm at home instead of roving the streets (Ingress is a geolocation game).

I've traded in one compulsive addiction for another.
