Is anyone else as mad as me! I spent months collecting and delivering media for Aisling Duval primarily to get Prismatic Shields and the 50 million weekly payout, eventually got the Prismatics, and received the first 50 Million Credits, then Frontier changed it all with Ascendancy update, so no more 50 Million credits! Power Contacts seem to have dissapeared from my local system, went over to Medupe to check, and I will note this new Powerplay 2 system looks more complicated than the Powerplay 1.

I loved this game played it on the BBC Model B years and years ago and on the Amstrad 6128 and finally on my Windows Gaming PC, but I'm sad to say treating players like this is unacceptable, so time to leave this wonderfull game and try pastures new. Fly safe commanders. Note I liked the Mandalay nice explorer ship, such a shame they killed the game for me.

The question is How did you not know that PPv2 was coming? They've been on about it for about six months! You're power contacts have disappeared because we all got kicked out of our powers, so its just a case of repledging, and doing the initial tasks (which is a good introduction to the new mechanics) and away you go. You'll get your rewards back in no time.

Powerplay 2 is more complex, but in a good way. There much more variety in the way you can acquire, reinforce and undermine systems

I've been in this game since May of 2015. I've been with the princess for almost as long. And no, I am not angry. Everyone, including myself, knew there was going to be a reset back to zero.

Time to take a look at things and see if a change should be made or if you need to resubmit to her highness so that you can continue to bask in her glory. It's a whole new Galaxy out there.

Embrace the new dangers, the new rewards, the new possibilities.

So, they overhaul a system in the game you actually care about, for free, and your reaction is to complain and ragequit?
Uhm... Look, I'm an explorer. I don't do combat in Elite and couldn't care less about powerplay. And while there's a few more things to scan on planets now and everything looks prettier than before, I'm still waiting for a significant update for exploration gameplay that give us meaningful, scientific things to do and astronomical things to discover. Hasn't happen yet. Instead there was combat and more combat, and even the Thargoids, after I chased after every mystery, turned into a combat only attraction.
And you're complaining?!
Grab the manual, read how it works and freaking go play with this great new system that was given to you free of charge! Or, well, just go.
