Newcomer / Intro ASP Explorer Fuel Scoop

Hello,

Been trying for almost an hour now using two websites INARA and EDDB to get my hand over a 6A or 6B fuel scoop and it's wrong because all the stations proposed doesn't have them. Every station I have visit did not have any fuel scoop lvl 6A or 6B not even 5, 4, or 3. Just 2 and1 level fuel scoop. So what am doing wrong here? Getting fed-up travelling all over the galaxy to find a fuel scoop and both sites are wrong so is there another tool in game or online that I can use to locate that level of fuel scoop guy's?

My bet Op still has his size 2A FS fitted so cannot see FS as an option in larger slots, or is actually only checking what will fit in the A2 slot. But it's probably the former.

Danny, unequip your scoop next time you're at the scoop store. Might solve the issue. What system are you in now?

For what it's worth I refused to buy a 6A scoop for nearly two years. I couldn't bring myself to paying more for the scoop than for the rest of the AspX. But a couple months ago I did it (newfound wealth made it painless) One needs to pay for the finer things :)

A 6B scoop is still pretty good on an AspX and and much cheaper than the A. The scoop rate isn't much less but when you do get the cash, A rate it: you'll be glad you did.

And, yes, what system are you in? The sites you are looking at may be slightly out of date.

I Sola Prospect in Brestla sells every ship and every module in the game. 15% more expensive but we'll worth it. I flew to Beagle Point with a 6A fuel scoop on my ASP Explorer and it was very useful. It did cost 27 million but it made life easier cos I had 3000 jumps in total.

I did unequip it at the station, store it, and try to rebuy one and still same issue, no fuel scoop higher then 2's

Chelomey Orbital in Cubeo has a 6A and 6B, updated two minutes ago on EDDB.

Go there, enter outfitting and remove your current scoop

Click your class 6 (or class 5, whichever size scoop you are looking for) slot and choose the store/shop.

Purchase and equip new guzzler

Sell your old scoop.

Well something must be wrong then I have been there many times and I went there also and there is no 6 fuel scoop popping up for me. Something must be wrong then with my ship set up to accept a 6 fuel scoop.

OK like I have sais in many of my post here I have been playing for 6 days now. I finaly figure out why I couldn't get and 6 fuel scoop. Was trying trying to buy a 6 fuel scoop and fit it in a 2 fgarde slot in my ship because I did not want to loose my 34 ton cargo bay capacity. So am really sorry guy's just learned something again with this gaem and did dind the error by myself

Are you clicking the right slot or attempting to put in the same slot as your other scoop?

If you do the steps I outlined it should work. Never seen it fail.

Can you maybe post a screenshot of your optional internals? For my part I really wouldn't bother with an A rated fuel scoop, they're not worth the money over a B rated one, unless you're racing.

This is normally caused by not selecting a size 6 optional internals slot before clicking "browse shop".

I like the idea of a brown shop. I suggested the slot earlier, or he still has his Size 2 FS installed. It's there, he just needs to mash buttons randomly until he finds it.
