Newcomer / Intro ASP Explorer Utility Mount Locations?

Hey all,
I'm going to be venturing out to try and get some Guardian Tech. I've read up on things and will be heading out in my ASP Explorer to do my first run. The guides I've read have talked about using the Diamondback Explorer and discuss the location of the two utility mounts being on the top/dorsal side of the ship which will be useful in taking out the sentinels.

So.... I don't have a Diamondback, I have an ASP, and a nice one at that. I have 4 utility mounts, but I've searched and searched and searched, and as near as I can figure out, two are on top, and two are on the bottom. I think slots 1 and 4 are top, but I'm not sure... and despite searching everywhere I can't get a definitive answer. I've found information on where the hardpoints are located, but not anything on the utility mounts.

Can someone tell me which slots are which or point me to a good guide please?

... looks like only number 4 is underneath, number 1 looks best option.

I've got a Point Defence in the number 1 utility mount. It's the highest point of the ship and the ideal location for a Point Defence. It easiliy takes out all missiles launched by Guardian Sentinels. Provided you can land close to the Guardian site of course.

PD isnt essential, but it does help.
IMHO, a better trick is to Synthesis Premium Ammo for the SRV.

When you select the slot in outfitting the camera will shift to focus on it and you can work out exactly where it is.

Point defense is pretty essential if you don't want your srv to take a lot of missile hits. Having more than one will certainly help when multiple missiles are fired. It's quite the show too.
I just wish FDEV could see to it that srvs had a utility mount on em.

If you think you will take a missile hit, put on your parking brake. I have no idea why this helps you (usually) not get flipped over. Especially if you are not on level ground.

Maybe in addition to stopping the wheels rotating it also causes the jets in the hubs to thrust you harder into the ground to boost adhesion.

More likely you'll get a cramped, claustrophobic view which may or may not be useful. Seriously, FD give the preview and module view functions some love.
