Asteriod Explosion Sound

I am not sure if this belongs here or if someone has already noticed it.
If you blow up an asteroid and are in the free camera during the explosion, the explosion has no sound.

Correct, a lot of things make no sound in free camera, because the game treats this as if you are floating in space, not in the cockpit being bombarded with synthesized sound from the ship AI.

To quote one of my old threads: "There is no sound in the void of space."
