It seems it was a contract issue, because of this:
It may have to do with Pipeworks being changed of owner to Digital Bros, and that Digital Bros did not want Pipeworks to work for Atari, but that's a guess and speculation. I have no proof and will not go further in this.

They voluntarily dismissed the claim about a week later "WITH prejudice against the defendant(s)" (Atari).
