authentication problem

hi, iv not played since probably 2015 or 2016, i have this on steam, i downloaded this as my brothers are playing, and i now have a meta quest 2. i started up in VR on first run, i got to changing gammer, then i quit vr as i need to use mouse not touch pads, now i get authentication problem, help? as i cant do nouthing now.


im gona uninstall and reinstall and see if it helps

Impossible to run game from STEAM

Yesterday was no problem - I enjoyed space venturing, but today my STEAM launcher says "THIS FRONTIER ACCOUNT DOES NOT OWN ELITE DANGEROUS AND IT'S NOT LINKED TO ANY THIRD PARTY ACCOUNTS" and asks me for Redeem Code but whichever of them I write it goes "Please check and try again". What the...

i did login with steam

the 2nd screen says it logs me out but saving the image failed, im downloading the game again atm

reinstalling is not the issue
just login out of steam and retrying until it works is...............
as its ofren just the servers playing up as mentioned in the linked thread
if problems still persist unlink and relink accounts steam to fd

thanks for the reply Strontium Dog, iv actually uninstalled again, but i also removed every folder with frontier in the name and also out of the registry, i exited VR when it was at the part to pick Gamma and unable to get to that screen again the first time round, i will try what you said in post above as soon as its downloaded again.

hopefully third times the charm

idk how to unlink my steam, on all their websites, clicking my account does nouthing, there is no fire wall or anti virus, just dont work even tho my game key is link to my steam
