Auto-trigger scanner and route plotting

Hi,

After several dozens in-game hours I came up with two small but - in my opinion - nice improvements to consider. I do exploring most of the time so proposed changes are probably irrelevant to non-explorers.

1. Auto-triggering of a 'honk' scanner after exiting from hypercruise. Holding a 'fire' button for several seconds after each jump has no point in my opinion. Just let the scanner charge automatically after the ship appears in the new system.

2. Route plotting in GalMap. I would like to be able to do it in the following steps:
- set a target system and any star filter I want (for example: KGB FOAM)
- click "plot route" button and wait for the result
- after the route is plotted, change the filter to something that can be completely different (for example: stars with economy)

I'd like to have no risk of unnecessary and unwanted re-plotting of the route and have possibility to look at the galaxy from different point of view at the same time. In other words - I'd like my plotted route to be persistent until I hit "plot route" button again.

Thank you for your attention. :)

You can use the Voice Attack software and EDDI plugin to do the auto-honk in each system in the way you described (triggers in EDDI and button/key press in Voice Attack) with a little code applied to both programs. You can even set EDDI to auto-honk only in systems you haven't visited with some more code. I use the included EDDI triggers to check my fuel status after each jump (silent if above 50% capacity and would work exactly like auto-honk - key press and hold for x seconds after jump), auto-stow my landing gear at takeoff, check my distance from set home system, relay docking pad locations as well as voice command docking request (Voice Attack) and many more options.

I'm sure someone in the below EDDI thread might work out a code for you to use if there's not already one in the thread.

Voice Attack - 10 USD but well worth the functions you can use it for.

The rest of your requirements is beyond the scope of these programs at the moment but at least one tedious task has or will be solved.
