General Autoloader and Tritium Extractor

We are living in the year 3305, since the days we left earth to explore the galaxy is far away. We are flying with small or big ships to other system, earn money by trading stuff, doing mining or go fighting.

Now we have the Carriers, they are really great, the can jump a distance about 500ly more then every normal exploring ship, the life is wonderfull.

But we have a little problem, Commander.

Our regular ships can plot a course over 20k Ly, but not our carriers, they only jump 500 ly, and then have to seek a new course to do the next jump.

Next problem, the fuel of the carrier, our regular ships can collect fuel on suns, with a special modul, but the carriers cannot do this in the same time, the tank is the most time empty, and then we are stranded in space.

We can buy the fuel, called Tritium, for a low price or a higher price, it gives enough other Commanders who are willing to deliver and sell that fuel, that´s really great.

But in the outer Rim, or outer space no one is there, to sell us that fuel.

We have 2 possiblities to not run out of fuel, we buy thousend of tons, storage it in the cargo and do it from there ito our tank, or go mining, that costs time, and we need luck to find potent hotspots to get that Tritium, but we have no autoloader to do it automatically from the cargo into the fuel tank, we have also not an Extractor when we stay in system with ice rings and possible tritium in that rings.

But we live in the future in the year 3305.

The Autoloader as speciel buyable extra modul for transfering Tritium from cargo to the tank, with maybe 200 tons each hour will be great, or an extractor which is automatically extracting tritium into tank, is still missing.

Maybe 20 Tons each hour, then we have to stay 500 hours in the system and the tank is full. Without the fast and expensive variation, buying thousend of tons for really much money, and do it with the faster autoloader ....

it is only an idea, i know some people will this be to slow, but Elite dangerous was never a fast going arcade game, every one have and had to spend hundreds or thousend of realtime hours to play this game .....

so my opinion ...

p.s. and please increase the cargohold of the carrier, then it makes sense to act like an trader ...... to make money ....
 
Theres zero point adding more cargo space to FC , you also can not sell high volumes as any thing worth a high return is going to be flooded by many players...
LTD and Agronomic Treatment Demand has been nuked due to FC, This will soon also effect CMM Composite... adding higher FC size will just make even more demand stations go empty... it will then effect Military Grade Fabrics after that.. and so on..

The real mega ships allready have access to contracts for the mega corps trading, the players sell peanuts of the galaxy supplies all ready and only fill the orders that are too small and not worth there time...
Giving us access to a real mega ship to full fill planet based mega corp deals would have to be added there not doing that, there adding walking...
 
I can't see the gameplay in Tritium to he honest, the sensible thing to have done would have been the fitment of grades of Hydrogen processing/Tritium refinement equipment that could be chosen by the player, with a scale that isn't simply 'go for the A rated one'
You have staff, so they should do the work, if (and I mean IF because you shouldn't have to do the work of the folks you pay) you bring Tritium back you select where it goes, there is little gameplay in juggling
 
Ida stopped buying all the CMM weeks ago. That should have helped. I also can not find many agronomic treatment.
 
We are paying these guys all this dough to hang around and do sweet all, all we require in return is to grab a few tons of Trit from the storage and ferry it into the fuel depot. Can't be that hard, no?
Apparently it is. Since they do need a docked ship present for that to happen. And even then they are unable to do it, unless there is a commander sitting in it. A cutter with 700t of cargo space, taking up space in the hangar is not good enough for this purpose.

Seriously: We really need an option that say: Enable Tritium transfer from Cargo to fuel depot if depot is not at 100%.
That would keep your FC always topped up for as long as you got Trit in your hold.
