Avatar creation in Elite Dangerous

There should be basic variations, however paid customization would be ok for me, the price should just be lower than the paint jobs.

Yeah, I think both ships and people should come with one standard variation. Not everyone got the Black Sunday package, but it is nice to have.

The survival suit is as universal as the HUD, it would seem.

Whilst I can see us being able to change the colour - I very much doubt we'll get to change anything else. Or for anyone to be wearing hats, sadly!

True, but i'm talking about red leather trim on the seats kind'a thing ... a speccy 48k rubber keyboard to your left ... that sort of thing.

I think that's what you're talking about.Though I wish that when we are able to walk, there will be stores we can visit to buy those like in star citizen.I really want to visit a Space-Mall.

Yeah, we need to be able to "grunge up" our Gutamaya, or clean up our Lakon, that sort of thing, especially once we can walk around on board.

I am not sure we need to be able to give our avatars big feet or anything like that. I would like the avatars to have a wide range of faces, and top half of their bodies(clothes etc).
Makes a joke of the process if there are like 4 faces and 5 face clothes(hat, glasses etc) to choose from.

So we know it's coming, however we do not know how it will be.
I hope it will be a long the line of the video below. That will bring variety to the Galaxy for sure.

Something like the character creator in Eve Online would be awesome. It's a few years old but still one of the best in the gaming industry, if only they delivered on incarna.
