Dinosaurs Baby Dinosaurs

And why the Lore JP/JW should not be based on real life!? From what I know, what makes a game good is its level of realism. It is extremely annoying to play only with female dinosaurs. As for Universal, it can prevent or allow breeding, but while we do not know, there is no reason to prevent certain features. How do you know that Universal will not allow breeding!? Planet Zoo is equivalent to JWE yes... And that's because the two are games of building zoos and were made by the same company. So because some features should be excluded in one game and present in the other, if they are made in two separate games but of the same type and by the SAME company!?

How is a good game determined by level of realism? I can't remember one game the last 20 years, that was actually realistic. If JWE was realistic, you would sit in an office most the time and do paperwork. Not playing God and just pointing to things to get them done. And if it had to be done in real time, a hotel would take a years gameplay to build. Nothing about this game is realistic. You have a 13 meter high Brachiosaurus coming out of an incubator the size of my living room. Hah

Yes I agree that some colors and looks would be a little different (from our knowledge and guesses), but again, how does that make the gameplay any different? It's purely visually and nothing more... And the fact that it's a "human perception" of an extinct animal will have something to say... These animals are manufactured. And that means they could be made sterile from birth for example.

And there's a difference between actual animals, and human-made animals. The dinosaurs are not even realistic in the JW universe. And to me, it wouldn't change a thing if the animals in Planet Zoo didn't breed... The daily running of a Zoo is a lot easier with controlled breeding or not at all. That's a fact. So pretty easy to see, why they didn't want the dinosaurs to breed. Also considering how easy they can kill people. I would rather square up against a lion, than a Giganotosaurus. Haha
Well it is true that zoos control breeding, but in fact they do not prevent them from breeding. There is no need, if some animals are crowded the zoo, just transfer it to another zoo. I liked your idea, the colors could be the difference between male and female, which would be visually pretty. As much as the JP/JW dinosaurs are genetically engineered creatures, although they are modified creatures, they are still animals, the parks proposal is to show extinct animals. It's sad how people think a dinosaur's life is going to go around just killing people. Life only exists because of breeding, without breeding there would be no life. How annoying it is to have to keep replacing every dinosaur that dies in the HCL.

I meant realism visibly speaking, you know what I mean? In relation to the graphics and what the game animals can do (eating, drinking, breeding and more)

I'm basically repeating myself. Universal not allowing breeding is a presumption before the games' release, & the devs already stated no breeding will take place. So its safe to assume, OR speculate there'd still be no breeding in a sequel IF there even is one.

Planet Zoo may be equivalent to JWE, DEVELOPER and PUBLISHER-WISE. However, you fail to grasp the fact that Frontier does NOT OWN the JP/JW Intellectual Property, UNIVERSAL PICTURES OWNS THAT INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, thats why they decide what gets to be added & whats not to be added into the game. Universal asked FD to develop JWE with restrictions. Ever wondered why the Ford Ranger Jeeps are indestructible? Because of Universal, & to an extent, Ford themselves if I remember correctly.

If you watched Jurassic World, Dr. Wu made this statement "Nothing in Jurassic World is natural".
JWE (JWE2?) is not obligated to follow natural reality.

True, nothing in the JW is natural, but it's a bad excuse to stop breeding, so there's no reason to. You don't want a dinosaur? Is the park crowded? SELL the dinosaur, ready, the population is controlled. Are you right when you say that the restrictions are made by Universal, but you work at Universal to know what they will allow or not? If that's all right, I understand, but if you don't work at Universal, then why are you saying these things? Or at least cite the source that says Universal does not allow breeding. If you could cite this source, things would be simple

This is not entirely correct. The director of Jurassic World himself has made it clear that the park had naturally bred dinosaurs, including male dinosaurs from sorna.

Exactly, all dinosaurs born in the laboratory at Isla Nublar are females, but in Isla Sorna have male dinosaurs that may have been taken to the Nublar... But look at that interesting what I found... https://jurassicoutpost.com/jurassic-world-breeding-males-and-females/
Pay attention to this detail. (Colin Trevorrow) "The dinosaur population on the island has grown since The Park fell..." It means that since the destruction of Jurassic World at Isla Nublar in 2015 the dinosaur population has grown, which means the presence of male dinosaurs in Isla Nublar. There was breeding in JW that was confirmed by Colin Trevorrow himself! Different than many think there are male dinosaurs in JW beyond the Indoraptor

I already read that tweet by Colin Trevorrow. JW dinosaurs can breed, sure, considering there is a mix of JW & JP dinos with different sexes, but that breeding is in a CONTROLLED MANNER. What you are asking, is UNCONTROLLED BREEDING.

Also, Isla Sorna dinosaurs belong to the JP Group, the dinos we're dealing with here for JWE are from the JW Group.
Furthermore, even IF the dinos in JWE are both male & female, for the movies sake, breeding is still controlled, which is basically like adding new dinos from the hatchery. Behind the scenes game-wise: Have a pair mate, take the eggs, incubate & grow them in the hatchery then release.
Ever wondered why there were no young dinos in the gyrosphere tour in the film? Why there were no nests? Because everything was controlled.
Game-wise, adding dino babies breaks the game balance for multiple reasons.
1. What's the purpose of the hatchery now IF we add babies?
2. What gender should it be?
3. What genomes should it have?
4. What is will its stats be?
5. What will it look like? Skin-wise
There is also the problem of making the models for them & how they would grow. Do you like a baby dinosaur to just pop out of nowhere when a dino pair breeds? & After a certain amount of time, just poofs into an adult?
What about a nest? Sure, add a nest which is just as small than the smallest rock decorations, the babies would be even smaller than the smallest dino we currently have.
Adding babies presents more problems than solutions. For every solution you have, you get a different problem to solve. Babies are more trouble than their worth.

"But even Zoos in reality have breeding", yeah sure, check this out: https://www.zsl.org/education/how-breeding-programmes-work
Even zoos control animal breeding. I wont be surprised if Planet Zoo has controlled breeding instead of an uncontrolled breeding like what you're asking.

The only reason the dinos in Fallen Kingdom were more than they originally were in Jurassic World was because controlled breeding was thrown out the window when the park was abandoned.

With the topic of the game's development, Universal approached FD for the development of JWE.
https://www.pcgamesn.com/jurassic-w...orld-evolution-frontier-universal-partnership
When it comes to partnerships, there is bound to be NDA, you do know NDA right? Non-Disclosure Agreements. Agreements on certain aspects of the game, that can include game sales, profits, etc, & WHAT CAN & WHAT CANT BE ADDED. You don't have to be a Universal or FD employee to figure that out.
There could be 2 reasons why certain elements/features are not added. Either because of game limitations/balance OR WHAT CAN & WHAT CANT BE ADDED part of the NDA.
1. Indestructible jeeps - NDA
2. JW Raptor Squad - NDA
3. Marine & Aquatic Animals - Game limitation
4. Baby Dinos - Game limitation &/or NDA, but I'm leaning more on the NDA.
FD Community Managers or Moderators also already stated no baby dinosaurs. I'm not going to bother talking about JWE2 since that game doesnt exist yet, a leak is a leak, regardless in how you look at it.

This will be my last reply since I'm tired of threads like this. Been seeing multiple threads like this here & in the JWE steam discussions that were already answered.

You're talking to someone who actively doesn't want breeding. I was just pointing out that not having it is inaccurate to the films.

The practical use of breeding is quite simply the production of animals without cloning (True Site B) and demonstrating maternal behaviors that guests (and more importantly players) may find interesting

I personally would just get Planet Zoo, but I can see why people want these things and how they make sense within JW

I know full well what an NDA is and signed several myself for game development. I have no idea why you feel the need to explain it with underlines and all caps.

I have already understood that your goal is to prevent something that is possible, by the simple fact that you think that Universal will not allow (even without knowing what they really will or will not allow). The only reason I'm still considering JWE2 is the fact that all the information leaked so far has been confirmed, at least until now. You ask how the dinosaur settings would be... The genus, colors and other characteristics would be customized in the HCL, and the dinosaurs born in the natural environment would inherit the characteristics of the parents, the color of the mother or the father, the gender would be random (male or female). The finality of the Hammond Creation Lab would not be lost, being that you could still customize the characteristics of new dinosaurs, and after breeding, the animal would pass these characteristics to the baby. You want to put a problem where it doesn't exist, breeding is possible. The Frontier only needs Universal's permission to do this, but if technically this was possible in another game of the company, then in a game of JW would be entirely possible and interesting. If you are tired of this topic, stay away from it, stop wanting to stop people from passing their ideas. You already disagreed once OK, we understand, if you are not satisfied what is still doing here? You're trying to exclude an idea from someone else, that's not good, especially with a plausible and possible idea. Imagine If I did this to you... It wouldn't be good, would it? So think about the next. Even uncontrolled breeding would not be harmful in a game, because if the population grows too much, just sell the dinosaurs that are occupying space. This would be more of a way to get money in the game. Realize? There are more advantages than disadvantages

Again you're saying people are "stopping" your ideas, because they don't agree with you and write something you don't agree with. How's that stopping you? This is a public forum where everyone is entitled to write their opinion, just like you're doing. The only one that can stop anything on these forums is yourself. And I'm pretty sure we've ALL had people that disagreed with stuff we've written on here. That's just how it is. So I think he's pretty capable of imagining how it would be against him. I doubt everyone has agreed with him on here... And so what? That's life man.

And you say "just sell the dinosaurs". What if I don't want to use my time selling dinosaurs all the time? I have plenty to do in my parks already. And yes you would get extra money, so the gameplay would also get way easier and the financial challenge would disappear. And to me that's disadvantages already...

You said on another topic that the reason you dislike breeding is that you do not know how this could be implemented in the game. In the current game this is not possible, but in... You already know I'm not going to repeat that. Regarding selling dinosaurs the question is simple. If you do not want to sell your dinosaurs incubate only female dinosaur, or just males in your park, then you will have no problem. Yes, you're trying to stop my opinion, for every solution I propose you create a problem. But since I can't stop you from writing, I'm just telling you this. You may disagree, of course, the problem is that for a solution that I propose to facilitate the implementation of breeding in JWE2, you create a problem. I do not want to own reason, just want to show that implementing breeding is something POSSIBLE, even if it is not something of necessity first. It's not easy, but it's not impossible. If Universal permits, the Frontier is able to implement in-game breeding. I'm just showing that this is possible.
