The Mercs of Mikunn: The BackgroundSim and Colonization Test​


You guys seemed to like my other background sim thread, so here's a little trick I thought you would appreciate. If you are interested in the background sim and haven't seen the guide yet, you can find it here.


Are you a solo player who has a pet faction? Or are you on of the recent groups that's been added in game? Ever wished that the game would recognize which group you are from? Until Frontier implements that, the Mercs of Mikunn have you covered! Check this out:

Notice the system is Achenar. About 200 LY from Mikunn.

How to do this? Accept one of those long lasting missions (seen a couple that last a week or two) that NPC's like to offer you alternate missions for, and let it sit in your box. NPC's will occasionally scream about you being from that faction. Not as good as the real thing, but still hilariously fun. :D Enjoy!

Yes, this was something I posted about a long time ago, we have all these minor factions, it would be so good if you could rank up within one of your choosing and when you get to a certain status, to be able to carry their 'standard' on your ship.

They need backgrounds too.

For immersion if anything.
