Backstage Megapack

Water Series - Plastic Water Tanks

The most common type of water tank seen in zoo backstage areas are plastic water tanks, most often connected to gutters as rainwater storage tanks. These can be found beside staff buildings or animal shelter buildings such as large giraffe or elephant shelter buildings. The plastic water tanks pack covers a range of water tanks from the conservation water tank, square water tanks to large 6 metre + tall tanks suitable for large buildings.

With this pack, this concludes the water series! Water filtration, prebuilt water filtration blueprints and all kinds of water storage tanks have all been made. We can expect the clutter series next which will look at general backstage clutter/mess, containers, dumpsters and various other items that can be classed as clutter.

Alright might aswell update this, I'm probably going to ditch the whole series order for this megapack as it entirely depends on what part of the Houston zoo I'm building currently and what I'm in the mood to build. Currently the addition to the vehicles has been ongoing for the past few weeks starting from the release of the barnyard pack, so far the realistic vehicles series (as a seperate megapack on the workshop for ease of use) contains 7 vehicles, most of which are tractors.

So in order, the vehicles built so far are:

Vintage Tractor & Trailers

My most popular vehicle so far is this vintage tractor, not exactly themed off a real vehicle but a 3d model I found in google images. Paired with 3 vintage trailers, this is a great addition to rustic farms.

Fendt Tractor

Based on a 1990's fendt tractor, this semi-modern tractor also works great for farms. A wide tire and narrow tire versions are included but most people would opt for the wide tire using the detailed tire piece included in the barnyard update.

John Deere 5 series tractor

A mid-sized tractor suitable for zoo work and farms is a great multi-purpose tractor to place in zoo backstage areas and farm themed areas. Included is a wide range of front loader attachments if needing the tractor to do any sort of task. This was the most difficult tractor to build yet my least popular 😅

Allis Chalmers Tractor

A wide body american tractor from the 1970's is a true american tractor because of how big it is! Looks great placed on an american farm but it just feels so big to be placed ingame, feels more like an industrial tractor for pulling very heavy loads instead of working on the fields.

Bobcat Skid-steer loader

Moving on from tractors, a much more suitable vehicle for zoos is a bobcat loader. Zoo's often use these due to their small size and wide range of attachments allowing it to do landscaping, animal food deliveries, construction and more. This includes 2 versions, a wheeled version and a tracked version.

Club car Golf Cart

Another common sight in zoos, is a simple golf cart. This 4 seater golf cart is a fast way to transport staff between different areas of your zoo, if only this was an offical way of moving staff.

Telescopic Boom Lift

Allow your staff to reach those hard to reach places with an aerial platform vehicle. I kept seeing this blue and grey vehicle in real zoo backstage pictures and had no idea what is was, turned out to be this boom lift where zoos must feel the need to keep one of these backstage.
