It's the only ship coming in the next update. It's definitely not the only ship going to be added in the life of the game. There's plenty of canon ships from the Older elite games that aren't yet in Elite Dangerous and plenty of new things they can do.

I for one want a medium pad sized imperial ship to fit in between the Courier and Clipper.

From all the different posts I've read, I don't believe the pilot shown in the video is a real ED pilot. If he was, he'd have a can of beer in his hand. It sure sounds like most of us drive our ships while impaired much of the time.

Which raises a concern I have for the future of the game: does the current design of the docking bay entrances limit the size of player-owned ships in the game?

Will the design change, or will we be able to own large ships that can carry smaller ships that can dock to transfer cargo or fuel (finally, a reason to buy hydrogen fuel from the commodity market)?
