The Code made the headlines in March by making Reorte and Leesti Independent. We then declared that there would be no pirating in the Independent systems of the New Caribbean. The traders were happy and dozens of travel passes were sold enabling traders safe passage within Federation and Alliance systems in the New Caribbean.
As Code membership grew profits fell as there was no pirating income in the area anymore. Code members traveled far and wide to make a profit. Many community goals were targeted and good times were had pirating once again. We set up a new secret base codenamed "New Tortuga" closer to Empire space where we have been operating for the last few weeks.
The only fun Code members had back in the New Caribbean was killing members of Cosmic State who tried to disrupt the peace. After heavy losses they have now pulled out of the area and there was nobody to fight anymore. All we did in the New Caribbean was protect the traders of our travel passes, not very exciting for the pirates asked to patrol there.
When Reorte went into Civil war, we decided it just wasn't worth defending. There was nothing to gain by defending it, so we let it return to Alliance control without a fight. Code members then questioned whether or not it was worth actually defending Leesti. There is nothing to gain by holding onto it so we have gone back to our roots and started pirating once again.
The Travel Pass for the "Codelands" has now been abolished, any trader entering the area with be targeted. We will not defend systems unless it is profitable to do so. Let the Alliance deal with the ram raiders of George Lucas, or pay us to deal with them.
Any Bounty hunter that enter the New Caribbean will be targeted, you have a KWS, you are a target. Zaonce is particularly hot at the moment as a new coalition headed by Silver United Solutions have targeted our allies in the Jet Family. Be warned, any combat ship that enters Zaonce will be targeted by us as we help our friends against this new threat.
We are the Code, We are Dangerous !
