Barrier Problem

Howdy lovely peeps,

I had a few months break from zoo-ing and just came back and am building a habitat for Alpine Ibex. I used a mesh fence around the back and they are just walking straight through it, so I've been getting an escape notice every few seconds. There is an invisible barrier hidden just past the outside of the fencing (opposite side to where the animals should be) so they should be stopped by the mesh fence before they hit the invisible barrier... any advice please?

Do you have any enrichment or bedding right next to the mesh fence? Animal animations can glitch out forcing them outside the barrier. I've used that mesh fence plenty of times so this isn't normal.

OMG, the whole habitat is no good! Firstly, they are walking between their shack and the rock/staff room. The closest bedding is in their shack and the closest enrichment is the scarecrow:

Secondly, they are now jumping over the front fencing, which is meant to be 1.25 metres high and is almost 2 metres high (this is shown with a 1 metre wall in front):

I have the same problem with my red kangaroos. I also used that mesh fence. Luckily they don't escape that often in my zoo. As for jumping over the fence, why not just make it higher? It seems way to low to keep jumping ibex.
