Newcomer / Intro Base on non-landable planet?

I may be missing something here or is it a bug?

So I accepted a mission to deliver data to Thirsk Horizons in Mildeptu, a surface station.

However, the planet, Mildeptu B 1 A is non-landable in the system map and has an Ammonia atmospere.

I went there and of course the planatary suite did not work as normal, I dropped out some 350km above the base, which I could see there on the surface, but I could not get to it.

So why is there a base on a planet that I can't land on?

Yes, I was in Horizons and yes I have a Planertary Landing Suite.

Yes, it's a bug apparently, you're not the first one to mention this problem.
Unless you get a mission update to another destination, the only thing you can do is to abandon the mission.
...and file a bug report of course!

The best thing to do if there is an existing bug report is to confirm it or vote for it depending on the progress reached. Duplicate bug reports weaken the importance and could lower the priority.
