All good ideas, I'll see how many I can fit in the cabin. Do we want the kettle with a blue light or orange light?
Blue light, please. Blue is more soothing for those long jaunts in deep space.

Good, at least someone here respects tradition!100% agree .. only true way of enjoying tea as a Starship Captain![]()

A few years ago, I thought that by the time Elite 4 came out, I'd be as bald as the Captain. Now, it seems that I'll still have some hair atop my head, but I'll still be drinking Earl Grey.
I want my space kettle to whistle the Blue Danube when its boiling. Here is a thought though. what happens to steam in Zero G... we all pretty much know how water behaves but how would steam behave coming from a kettle in zero-G?![]()

Not sure the Whistling Kettle will be popular with all players here. There seems to be lots of forumites who don't like Steam! AHAHA HAHA HA! ahem.If people are going to insist on having tea, they should do it properly... will we have a teapot?
As for the floral pattern, perhaps, but surely it should be willow pattern. We don't need fancy indicator lights on a kettle, just go for an old fashioned whistling kettle.
Pretty much the same it does in a gravity environment, I guess... the kettle would have to be locked to the oven somehow, though, or the steam would function as a thruster for the kettle.![]()
