Well if it has not already finished, and if I am lucky enough to get back on game tomorrow night, perhaps I can waste another hour and a half of my life trying to make this load of cocijo make sense...
Only tried for the splendid reward on offer. Does not honestly feel like it's an achievable goal for me at this point though.

You only need to score a minimal amount of damage to qualify for the CG, which is very achievable first-time solo if you have an appropriately equipped ship. Just pop a couple of vents and get one or two hits with AX missiles on the Core and you're good. You'll need to get in a bit more practice if you want to do more damage and get higher rewards, but not needed for the CG goodies.

Do you need to fly away from the Maelstrom alive to make contribution in the CG?

It takes a while to update, but if you check the CG board status on rescue ship Hutner, it should show the actual figure.

I just tried to damage the core and get out from the Maelstrom alive.
Zero result, still 0 credits in the community goal.
Are the developers planning to give any comment on this? At least something like “We know that participation in the CG is not taken into account correctly, we are monitoring the situation, everyone will receive their rewards, don’t worry.”
I feel betrayed, everyone around me is sharing their successes, but I have 0 and the prospect of not getting anything for the CG.
Although I did everything right to take a part.
And there is still no way to log in to the Frontier Support site.
Although, recalling my previous experience of interacting with it, I assume that the last titan would have been killed three times before I would have received an answer.

Btw for anyone concerned: my contribution for the CG did not update until I went to a station and opened up the CG again. Also, a friend of mine said he had to actively sign up for the CG, it did not auto add him.

My alt got auto added to the CG. I like that, let's do that more.

The game still says that this contribution is zero.

Am I correct that I'm the only person in the world who has encountered such a problem?

Just a note: While you don't need to get out of there alive, you still need to live long enough for you to get a note about how much damage (in terms of credits) you did. So if you for example rammed the core with your ship then you might have died before the damage is recorded.

Yes I am.
I can see the CG in my transactions tab, and the word "registered" when I look at CG in the missions tab on Rescue Ship Hunter.

Then I'm out of options. I flew yesterday and had no problems. And it was counted immediately in flight, without handing over the award.

@Kamerad Vader I’m quite sure that support will resolve this for you, just keep screenshots reference.

Btw, I tried log into support pages for creating report (right now) and it worked without any problems. If it’s not working for you, it looks like local issue on your side/connection. Could be worth try different browser.

For those worried about their contribution not changing (very slow for me): if you have an Inara profile, you can check there, it updates very quickly (for me at least).

That's a mistranslation on the CG interface. The second one should read "3395 Damage Done" and not mention credits at all.

The odd thing are the values, I did 4.8m in bonds in the single short sortie I managed yesterday evening, but for some reason, it shows only some odd 2,556 contribution to the CG, and I properly registered at Hutner first

Only tried for the splendid reward on offer. Does not honestly feel like it's an achievable goal for me at this point though.

You need to equip (and learn to use) a couple of caustic sinks and a thargoid pulse neutraliser. Else you will not be able to get there.

When the sinks get full you need to manually eject them (you need to bind them to a fire group). As for the neutraliser, you need to also manually fire it, at the moment when the blue wave is just about to hit you.

You also need some AX weapons. However, given that you need to do damage to the core itself, you may want to go there in open or the AXI pg, as it becomes really hard (although not impossible) to expose the core in solo.

Apparently the 'contribution' counter tracks damage instead of credits gained, was what I gleaned from other posts. A new way to go about things, but we get our money and the rewards, so.

The CG aparently track hp loss of the titan not credits, so you made 2556 damage to Cocijo. But don´t worry you only need 1hp damage to gain the rewards.
