Beagle Point Expedition (BPE)

Hi CMDRs,
I'd like to suggest a good place for gathering some premium jumponium materials near to WP11 before crossing the Abyss.
It's Qautheia KG-Y c2 C 2, about 40 LYs from QAUTHEIA BA-A E0.
There is relative high presence of Yttrium (2.4%) and Vanadium for AFMU refill (9.7%).

Fly safe
<O

Well, after going back to original coordinates and checking on it 4 times throughout the day, it did get light enough to ALMOST see your hand in front of your face. LOL

Yeah, I guess some people might accidentally launch themselves down the 450+ meter cliff (I flew down it to check the depth).

Thank you for answering my dumb curiosity. 07

That's fine, beagle point location might change as well to get a better view of the sky box but I will check before hand.

new wp12 coordinates Planet 7 * -48.0860 / 108.0496 due to a rough landing field.

Can you provide a visual landing guide? I'll most likely arrive this weekend and I've been to an expedition waypoint/basecamp/meetup before ^^"

After finding the expedition on EDSM, and joining up there a few weeks ago, I finally decided to see if there was a thread for it. Surprisingly enough, considering my general lack of progress due to my job killing my game time, it looks like I am not too far behind. The Nimbus sailed through waypoint 10 tonight and is now plotted to The Ronceveaux crossing. If I can forgo sleep for the next couple of weeks I might catch up to you guys at Beagle.

o7 BPE and greetings from DECE!

Just a reminder for all at BPE that DECE will also be at Darwin's Legacy May 5th onwards, some of us even earlier. So if you want to be a part of two big expeditions meeting in Beagle Point, be there! ;)
We have been planning some shenanigans for the BP week, at least SRV racing and anything else we can come up with.
Looking forward meeting you all there! :)

Looking forward to the meetup with your expedition

I forgot this expedition was occuring, and I coincidentally decided to take my post 3.0 over-engineered Anaconda out to Beagle Point now the journey wasn't so painful; I believe I've more than enough time to get there by May 5th, so I'm considering trying to meet up with you guys. Do you need me to sign up for the expedition to take part?

Nope. Both expeditions occur in Fleetcomm PG so if you fly there also, you can meet both of the expeditions at 5th. ;)

Well the half way point is in sight as most of us have made it across the abyss and we have set our sights on Beagle point and some Diamond Geysers that some of the earlier expedition members found.
We have all come a long way to get to this point and on may the 5th we will reach the goal of reaching Beagle Point but we will be celebrating this milestone with The Dead End's Circumnavigation Expedition joining us at Beagle Point.
Will that be the end, of know that is only the half way point and there are still loads of stunning images and fun to have on the run back to Colonia and Phoenix Harbour.

Hey everyone, a message from our expedition leader, King_INF3RN0

I want to thank you for your patience so far with my annoying schedule of a life that tends to steal my weekends, but unfortunately I'll need to be doing it again. Next weekend, a family member of mine is graduating college and I will be out of town to attend the ceremony/etc, meaning I would not be able to make the meetup (again).

Since this is the big meetup, however, Wishblend and I have decided to postpone the meetup for one week.
This means the meetup date for Beagle Point moves from the 5th May till the 12th May. We will then stay a week for fun activities along with DECE (The Dead End's Circumnavigation Expedition) while we wait for slower pilots, and do a mass jump on the 19th with both expeditions.

The meetup for the two expeditions will be hosted on the FleetComm Discord server (https://discordapp.com/invite/0hKG2qb9ODixa7Iz). Please make sure that any screenshots you take still get added back here in our #images_and_videos channel to be included in the official album of expedition images

Waypoint 14 (Podar) will change from a weekly meetup to a POI (in line with the furthest ELW POI) and remove the meet up date, putting us back on schedule for the rest of the trip. The next official meet up after that will be Waypoint 14 (The old WP15) on the 2nd of June.

Oh... yes!! It's a great notice for me.
I'm on my own way to Beagle, about 7k ly still to arrives... But yesterday, late in the night, I get totally stucked in the abyss with my 23 ly Python. I was following the doc in this thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/eliteexplo...abyss_can_i_get_to_beagle_point_without_much/) but I can't reach the starter point...
At this point, I understand that I can't meet expedition at Beagle in May 5... but now, maybe, a new hope is coming. :D

We will wait for BPE at Beagle Point and while waiting, we are looking for suitable locations for a little SRV racing in form of hill climbing and/or circular race route.

Take your time, we will be waiting. :)

Most of us are already there. As I'm sure are many if not most of DECE. So a delay is academic at this point.
We're not delaying the meetup (IMO), we're only delaying the departure so that more people have time to gather there for the photo/video op.

There will, I'm sure, be impromptu meetups or gatherings of pilots throughout the week.
I for one will be at the designated meetup next weekend as originally scheduled as I'm sure will many other pilots.
Then, we'll just hang around and do it again the next week.

There are several pilots in BPE who's schedule won't work with the delay. As I'm sure there will be players in DECE who can't attend with the delay.
This schedule has been planned for months.
I would urge everyone to meet next weekend as planned, for the sake of those who can't make it on the 12th.
Then, if you can, stick around and meet again on the 12th for the sake of those who couldn't be there on the 5th.
I would ask the DECE to do the same if they can.

p.s. This is completely unofficial. I'm not an expedition leader, just a member and I do not mean to imply that I'm speaking for the leadership.
